@bearbear1:  I haven’t had hair down there since I was 18 or so, my Fiance definitely didn’t have to ask me to do it.

I always shave down there. Fiance was pretty happy about that 😉 Not only does it make sex nicer, but it also makes it wayyy more comfortable for wearing shorts, going swimming, etc.

If you don’t feel comfortable shaving, then try just trimming to start. I’ve always been afraid to wax, so shaving comes easy, but eventually I’d love to get laser hair removal down there.

me and Fiance both shave. if we havn’t shaved in a little while the other person will tell you you’re “furry” which is a que you need to shave soon.

I do sometimes.  Other times I just keep it all trimmed.  Shaving, even with the nice five blade razors and all that jazz, irritated my skin so I have to let it grow/ reset before I do it again.  SO never asked me to and I don’t think cares one way or another.  He was a little surprised the first time though.  Not that he ever gets to experience it freshly shaved and completely smooth >_< sexytime doesn’t come nearly often enough and rarely on the days we plan so I’ve kind of given up trying to prepare -_- but his birthday is next weekend so I’ll prepare for them… *fingers crossed*

@Milo:  Could someone enlighten me on why the thread title claims it’s easier getting it in? Am I reading it wrong? Last I checked you can still get it in with a full bush.

Maybe some guys dont know where they’re supposed to poke around if it’s not shaven. =P

I personally agree that the hairless options of both female AND male gentalia look way too creepy and child-like. If my Fiance had no hair down there, I would be really freaked out.

But beyond all that and the feminist in me, I am just like really confused how this works for you all, physically speaking. When I shave, it comes back stubby and hurts and looks awful, and then if I shave the stubble it bleeds. How does this not happen?

I’d rather have a neat, trimmed area than a stubbly vagina. That’s disgusting.

@memleyxx:  Can I ask how you even found this thread? It’s a year old and not a commonly-searched topic, I would think. It’s just always confusing to me when someone suddenly comments on a really old thread.

@Vidya:  +1 Love your whole post. My SO shaves, I trim with a bikini trimmer every few weeks (but my hair grows fast, so it varies from closely trimmed to pretty bushy) and both of us are satisfied with whatever the other person feels like doing. If he stopped shaving, I’d still love going down on him.

@MexiPino: I searched something I was interested in and added to a thread; I didn’t feel the need to make a few thread. Why is that so bad?

@memleyxx:  I wasn’t criticizing, just genuinely curious.

@KT808:

I think you right, it must be a generational thing. All of my female firends either shave, wax, or got it lasered off. I am all about the laser. I had no idea people let their hair grow.

I shave it all off. Darling Husband doesn’t shave at all 🙁 he’s got a bit of a ‘fro going on. I’ve asked him numerous times to do some man-scaping but he never gets around to it. I’ve since given up – I actually don’t notice it that much anymore, guess I just got used to it =

@indibee:  Yes, men can be waxed or sugared just as women can. It often means seeing an aesthetician who specializes in male treatments so that he can get it properly done without bruising though!

When Mr CP first suggested I wax after a few years of shaving, I was all for it– provided he went first! What’s good for the goose is good for the gander after all. He did, and he’s done it somewhat regularly since. A few years back, I had a laser treatment done, and now all that’s required of me is light maintenance shaves every now and then. It’s great.

I’m in the process of getting it lasered, I hate pubes.  He uses the clipper for the really hairy parts, and a razor in the shower for the sack and base (sorry for the imagery, lol).
