You should have responded with “Actually she’ll find a man that clearly loves her more than your husband and parents ever loved you”. She was obviously never loved.

P.S. Your daughter is just the cutest, sweetest looking little girl ever! Love her outfit. Two of my friends are having babies in the next couple of weeks but they’re boys 🙁 Girls are so much more fun!

that is horrible! i dont know how you kept your mouth shut – your little girl is adorable!  didn’t their parents ever teach them “if you have nothing nice to say then don’t say it” – some people make me sick.

Excuse me???   Wow – did you say anything to her??  I wouldn’t have been able to hold back, my mouth or my fist.  WTH!

@tranquility: I probably would have done something similar.

Your daughter is beautiful!  I really don’t understand why anyone would say that…why would a man not love her?

Please send me her address. That woman deserves a beating. Your daughter is amazingly beautiful and will find every bit of happiness that woman lacks!

Oh, my. I always wonder how people like this were raised! Did she realize how offensive that was after she said it and heard your reply?

OMG!  This makes me so angry?!  How can anyone be so cruel?!  Of course she’s going to be loved by someone who will see her for the beautiful young lady she’ll become.  I’m in shock!!
