Aww – try not to stress! From the PPs comments, it sounds like it really shouldn’t affect you when it comes time to TTC. Her joke just didn’t really come off as she planned it.
If it makes you fell any better, I’ll share my humorous OBGYN story. When I went in for my second pap ever, there was a resident/trainee observing my OBGYN. She got my okay for the trainee to be in the room observing (I didn’t care) and started her exam.
All of a sudden she looks up at me and says, “You know, you have an absolutely beautiful cervix! Do you mind if I show her?” I let the trainee check out my “beautiful cervix” although I don’t really know what having a “beautiful cervix” means and why mine apparently so much nicer than most!

@Mrs.KMM: Haha, thank you for sharing you story. It made me feel a lot better.
To all the PPS, I did contact her nurse this morning and she assured me that having a low lying uterus will not affect my fertility at all, and that in any case it might make it easier, and labor might be shorter for me. Sounds good to me!

I agree, she has poor bedside manners!
If you’re worried your uterus isn’t in the proper positioning for conception, the finding a Arivigo Abdominal Massage therapist in your area. They will DEFINITELY help! It’s an external massage (not internal, no worries!) and it can/will reposition the uterus. This can help with conception/fertility as well as symptoms of pms!
You can find practitioners nationwide here: https://www.arvigomassage.com/wide/practitioners

@pumpkinpatch: Please don’t worry too much. My mother and I both have the same problem. Apparently almost 1/3 of women do (says my doctor). My doctor gets me to make a fist and put it under my bum, when she is examining me, this raises up my pelvis so that everything is easier for her to find.
Originally my mother was told it might be difficult for her to conceive (this was a long time ago obviously). However both my sister and I were conceived with no problems.
I wouldn’t worry. 🙂

She was just making a joke. She probably tried to cue you in by:
2. saying “little spermies”
3. Correlating it with that fact that she had trouble finding it.
All just a joke. You’ll be fine. Best of luck.
