tashie16:  thank you! I loved it because I’m getting married in august in Georgia and it’s hot down south then.  All the other dresses had too much fabric and I didn’t want to be a sweaty mess lol. It’s simple too and fit my style more than the poofy dresses. I’m making a bridal sash with lace, crystals, and pearls to give it more bling. I’m also wearing my mom’s pearl necklace and going to up the drama with some diamond and pearl earrings. I’m also doing a floor length veil with lace trim. I think the simpler sheath gowns let you accessorize way more. 🙂

I wore a pretty simple stretchy sheath dress.  It was definitely good motivation to shapen up a bit ahead of time, and I wore Spanx-like high waisted shorts underneath.  I had cups sewn into the top so I didn’t have to wear a bra.  (I have small boobs anyway so I just needed a little more shape rather than any support…)

I love sheath dresses and everyone here looks fabulous!!!

LadyH:  Sorry, I have no idea! it’s just one of the belts they had at the store where I bought the dress. I didn’t buy it yet — I’m going to buy one of the belts when I go for my first fitting (they had a huge belt selection).

jofits:  thank you!  I actually got it at Macy’s for $120 if you can believe that!  It’s on sale there for $83 but only in limited sizes.  I’ve also seen it for sale online at Nordstrom’s on and off.  I absolutely loved it and the price was obviously a huge bonus : )

Wow, It looks 100 times better on you than on the model.  I never would have picked that out online.

tashie16:  I tried on a sash and it was really simple and about $60…I was like WHAT!?…so I made mine which is waaaaay more detailed for about $10.  Yes…I’m making my own veil too…the price for a piece of tool on a comb is ridiculous! You should definitely go for it and make your own!

Thanks!  Not to sound like a jackass but I agree, haha.  I ordered it just to try on and probably return, and was definitely pleasantly surprised by how flattering it was on.  I did have my seamstress lower the neckline a bit cause it looked a little matronly before.

Here’s my sheath! I only ever wanted a sheath. Tried on more fitted dresses to be open minded and they were so gorgeous but I felt like.. my fiance knows I have this body, our priest doesn’t need to! Haha

This is a 2 sizes too big sample which is why it’s so low cut.
