faerie87:  try Maggie sottero! I was obsessed with all of those brands you listed as well but I wanted a down payment more…lol

i got my dress from Maggie and I love it and it gives me that same vibe as the other designers. she has several that are closer to the 3000 price that are very similar to them. but most are around 1000-2000 But look more expensive than that

I second Maggie Sottero. However, I think finding what you want with a cathedral train is going to be tough. I just browsed Maggie’s collection again, and I think you want something like this…but with a longer train: https://www.maggiesottero.com/maggie-sottero/lottie/9744

I know you can cut off a train, but I wonder if there’s a way to make it longer…

Good luck!

Here are some. Some of these are described as chapel train but seem borderline to me.

Essense

Allure

As per usual with me I’ve found myself not being done after my first post

These two are closer to chapel than cathedral but I thought they were worth a mention anyway

If you don’t like anything anyone has mentioned here there are heaps more options if you’re willing to compromise on the strapless

Some more. Some of these are described as mermaid or fit and flare, but look sheathy to me:

I actually tried on the Maggie Sottero and the Kitty Chen seegee mentioned above- they are both BEAUTIFUL in person and they are not the typical lace dresses everyone is seeing-

I couldn’t find pictures of real brides wearing either- hope this helps! (Plus they are both under 2k)

I’m sure you can extend then train on any of the dresses pictured. I was able to extend my dress train 9 inches but it did cost extra. It might depend on the designer though.

What about Rosa Clara, particularly the Rosa Clara Two and Rosa Clara Soft lines? The Spanish economy is so bad that I found them to be very affordable. And their strapless dresses are incredibly well made with internal corsets.

I’m sure the lace could be modified to make this a full on strapless (removable train so you won’t have to bustle and ruin the sheath look): http://www.rosaclara.es/en/rc/enfasis-18/

Tiny straps but gorgeous: http://www.rosaclara.es/en/rc/rita-2/

This is in the Rosa Clara line so it may or may not be in your budget: http://www.rosaclara.es/en/rc/seoul-2/

Can you show us a dress you like from one of those lines?

If you go to the bestbridalprices.com website you can order the Wtoo Ryley and Elise with the trains extended 8 inches. I haven’t seen this offer with other online retailers but this site.
