I’m also the worst with cravings. I can be strong all day but something about the night munchies gets me. I tell myself it’s okay, it’s just one bite, but it’s all a lie! Ugh. I finally lost 5 pounds (after not losing for months) only to gain it back…it was heartbreaking. I am looking to lose 30 pounds, but would be happy with losing 20 (what I gained in one year…)

So yes, tips and keep them coming!

I’m in! I have about 75 lbs I’d like to lose. My biggest struggle is that there are always treats at work… which makes snacking all day super easy. Thanks for starting this thread, just what I needed 🙂

@DaniGirl03 (sorry — my tagging doesn’t work from my work computer) — have you thought about setting up a group on a site like MyFitnessPal? It’s easier to use than a thread on WB which can get lost or just way too big. Plus it links your calorie tracking and exercise in a newsfeed like feature so you can see how your peers are doing.

Add me in. I eat fairly healthy… but what does it matter when you over eat the healthy stuff too haha. I would like to lose ~45 lbs.

I want to lose like 20 – 25 lbs. My biggest struggle is that I attend university and am all over the place all day. I have tried packed food but it always seems to go warm by the end of the day and it is time consuming to have to pack it vs one pot cooking, eat, done. On campus food is expensive (and not the most healthy) so I try not to buy it. I don’t normally get home until like 8:00 – 9:00 at night and by then I am so hungry, I don’t want a small meal. I did force myself to stop eating fast food on the way home and lost 15 lbs that way.

DaniGirl03 :  I am in! My goal is to drop my body fat to about 20%.  I’d like to lose about 10-15 pounds and then focus on building more muscle.  I am pretty solid with fitness (I lift heavy 4 times a week and run 4 days a week), and am training for a race next spring, but my nutrition is not always on point.  I track macros and meal prep every Sunday, which has really helped me, but am a sucker for sweets.  I also work long hours/have a long commute, so I sympathize with people having crazy schedules and being overwhelmed with living a healthy lifestyle!

I lost about 45 pounds doing low-carb but then I moved and completely lost all discipline and I’ve gained back nearly all of it. My body responds really well to low-carb and helps with some other issues as well (less headaches, clears up my skin) but I struggle with how restrictive it is because I love sweets and pasta and bread and well, everything bad for me really. Now my goal is to lose what I regained and hopefully 10-20 pounds on top of that.

I’ve been trying calorie counting and I usually don’t have any problems during the work week but I always over do it on the weekend. Does anyone have any advice for curbing weekend eating? Does anyone do “cheat meals” or cheat days and find that they can make that work for them?
