There are lots of posts out there that talk about the ivory/white debate, just search for them to see pictures and opinions!

If you’re looking for inexpensive dress shirts, stay away from suit stores and upper class department stores, and check out some chains that carry mens clothes.  For example, we’ve got some nice dress shirts for my husband in a variety of colours from H&M, Urban Behaviour (including a lavender one) etc.

We got our entire guy’s outfits at JcPenny (suit pants, white dress shirt, tie, belt, flip flops) at JcPenny for under $100 each!

My FI just ordered and received his ties from http://www.thetiebar.com.  They were $15 each and they have a TON of colors and designs. They got here super fast and are great quality!

I’ve seen white shirts on most groomsmen/grooms and it never made the bride’s dress look dirty. Maybe they all were wearing true white, but I doubt it.

We are doing an outdoor ceremony also. Just got our groom/groomsman suits at Boscovs…having a huge suit sale right now. Of course, the suit we loved was the most pricey…$200 but they look AMAZING in them. Groom wearing ivory shirt and tie; groomsman wearing matching black tie and ivory shirt…

@whitelake:  Hi there.  I am doing a VERY similar color combo for my wedding this October and would love to see any pics you might have of yours.  My dress is ivory, girls are DB lapis, and guys are grey…
