I think heels go with ANY wedding dress. Are you comfortable in heels? The dress is beautiful btw and I think any of these would look lovely.

If you’re not comfortable in heels, then maybe something like this is something a little more comfortable.

Love your dress! I’ve been looking into wedges for my beach wedding. I was considering flip flops, but I think I would just feel more complete with nice shoes on. Here’s what I’ve got!

I think wedges would be a nice compromise for getting the height you want and not sinking in the sand, haha. What about something like this? Like a satin wedge with a cute detaill or brooch. Also, you could look at sandal wedges, like metallic strappy ones.

Sand is pretty unstable so I would avoid all heels (even wedges) unless you wear heels on an everyday basis and, thus, are really stable and comfortable in them). And I don’t thin k you’ll look dumpy in flats! I’m wearing flats! Nobody is going to see your shoes anyway!

@MUAbride2be:  And try walking around the beach for awhile in both options!

Barefoot. Seriously. Don’t try to wear shoes on the beach. I’m a beach wedding photographer and I can tell you that almost every single one of my brides goes barefoot (as do the rest of their wedding party and guests). Occasionally one will try flipflops but usually kicks them off half way down the isle because they can’t walk in the sand.

If you want heels for later by all means go for it, but you’ll look pretty silly trying to walk in dress shoes in the sand.
