Hey ladies! So my name color is blue for the wedding and I want to get blue shoes..seems to be the new trend from reading the board messages haha. Anyway these are the two I’m debating on:
This is the audrey brooke greysen shoe from DSW for $60 and is satin with a 4″ heel
These are the Meg shoes from Davids Bridal that I could get dyed to match my bm dresses perfectly (horizon blue).
Thoughts? Has anyone worn either of these shoes and liked/disliked them?

I haven’t worn either. Both are cute. If you want a blue shoe, I’d just get the shoe that is already blue and not submit myself to the extra task and expense of getting a pair of shoes dyed. Besides, I think the platform on the blue shoe is more popular these days.

I would get the blue shoe. When you have shoes dyed you often get leakage of the dye onto the liner of the shoe which doesn’t look very nice on an open sandal.

I like the first pair. They’re prettier IMO.

i like the second ones more

The second ones could be dyed to exactly match the horizon blue color? Tempting.

I like the shape of the first ones the most. Sometimes bigger jewels can snag the bottom of your dress like in the second pair.
Btw, Goooo HOKIES! (I go to Tech 🙂

Thanks ladies! I think I’m going to go try them on and decide from there on what’s more comfortable 🙂
@ Baystatebride- yes davids bridal will dye shoes in any of the colors they have for dresses. They are 3″ heels and are $59+the cost to get them dyed. I’ve heard some not so great things about that process/people having issues but I was hoping if I got them 3-4 months before the wedding they would be pretty set?
@ rayrayfurious- oh good call! I didnt even consider that! I’ll have to look at them closer when I go. hehe thanks!
