winterbride8102 :  Can you provide a pic for reference?  Just makes it easier to find what you’d like.

Have you looked at the Keds Kate Spade glitter sneakers? I wore those and they were super comfortable and adorable and unless I lifted my dress to show people no one could see them. I wore an extremely formal A-line as well.

This thread is dangerous.  I went on Anthropologies site in search of shoes and came across a bunch that I don’t know I can live without and they are all pretty pricey!!

Btw, they have a number of metallic gold ballet flats.

okay this is what I’ve got so far.  Most of these come in sizes between 10-14 but not all.  I really don’t know what your budget is for shoes so I went low….very low.  I know these are the cutest except for the last pair.  I’ll keep a look out.

From “Call it  $30  Size 11

Amazon color gold  $15

Ebay $30 Ivory.  This is my fave so far

winterbride8102 :  Here is an option from BHLDN! I bought the first pair to wear for my wedding. Mine is also in January but in California so not too cold that I have to worry about wearing sandal like shoes. I found these to be a mix between flats and sandals and I love them on!

winterbride8102 :  Blue by Betsey Johnson Joy Evening Flats

Blue by Betsey Johson, Joy.

However, pointed toe is typically more “formal” and likely would not look weird at all and open you up to a whole world of flats.
