I was shopping at the Nordstrom Rack and thought I found my shoes. The Poetic Licence Spectacle Pump
This picture doesn’t do them justice. I put them on and felt like Cinderella… Unfortunately, it was Cinderella playing dress up in her *larger* stepsister’s shoes. Normally I’m a size 8, but not this time. I found a pair in a different color in 7.5, and it was perfect. Unfortunately, the closest Nordstrom Rack with a 7.5 in zinc was over 2 hrs away.
So, I bought the shoes online through HSN, using a coupon code, and only ended up paying $15 more than I would have at the store… But 7.5, the size that was perfect for me in store was not perfect for me from HSN. I even went back to the store to confirm that I wasn’t crazy and that 7.5 fit me there.
So, what do I do? Do I send them back and try for an 8? or do I somehow manage to convince customer service that the pair of shoes I got is wrong and they need to send me another 7.5? Or is there some other option. Or is this just fate telling me to get a closed toe shoe like I originally thought I wanted?
