My wedding is going to happen in a tent in a horse paddock. Its a perfect piece of land. It is totally flat, it has a gorgeous view, and I love it! Additionally, my parents own it, so we can party all night under the stars!
The issue is that, I must wear heels. I really cannot imagine a world where I wear flats on my wedding day. I’m compromising by wearing low heels. Ideally, under 2.5 inches, but I would go up to three. The area is gravel. The tent will likely be pitched on the gravel. (I’m warning guests in advance.) However, I will also be walking through grass and uneven pastures. I need to get my dress altered soon, so I need to find shoes. Its crunch time ladies.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Will I fall over if I do a delicate wedge? I don’t want to wear sturdy, clunky shoes. My love of heels is well known among friend and family. I feel like satin shoes will be totally destroyed by the gravel and grass. What to do? Ladies, do you have any suggestions or experience? Pictures and links greatly appreciated. Also, my dress is blush, so I really need ivory, blush or gold shoes. Thanks for the assistance!
