Can you just punch an extra hole in the strap? Or is the strap itself too short to fit into the buckle? Pics of the shoes would help!

If there’s room punch a hole, or if it is a vinyl-like or leather material you could try heating it with a hair dryer and stretching it

Yelp your closest shoe/luggage repair place and have them take a look at it. Most places can punch an extra hole or they can add elastic to the buckle strap.

@kagan1042:  A good shoe cobbler can remove the current strap and replace it with a strap that is longer.
