if they were $175, i’d say go for it, but these being nearly 3x’s what you would spend on non-C’s shoes, it seems like too much. i think green pumps wouls be fun and would drive home the point.
ETA: I see that you are saying you would wear them again. you are a braver woman than i to navigate the garden in shoes that tall, but if you go to games quite often and will get use out of them beyond your wedding day, then go for it 🙂
also, go celtics!

Have you told HIM the price? I bet that would kill the buzz real quick…

If you realistically think you will wear them again–would you really wear them to a game?–and they won’t just sit in the back of your closet, then get them.

While I am always the person that says to splurge, and $275 doesn’t seem bad for shoes to me, will you really wear those again? The novelty is cool, but they don’t seem practical and most people won’t see them.

i say pass on them since you are already using a celtics garter…

Where did you find these? I fell in love with a pair of Badgley Mischkas that would’ve cost me $450 by the time I had them shipped from the US. I found them on Amazon and they cost $112 shipping in! So unless they’re custom-one-of-a-kind, may I suggest doing some shopping around? EBay, Amazon, etc. Don’t give up! 🙂

I like a previous poster’s idea of buying shoes in this shade of green to match your garter, but it sounds like your mind is already made up that you want THESE shoes!
