I’ve been looking high and low for low heeled burgundy shoes and I finally came across a pair, and they weren’t too expensive! After a month of waiting, they finally came in and they are perfect in all aspects except the size! They’re too big! Not being able to try things on first is one thing I don’t like about ordering clothes and shoes online. I can’t return or exchange them because shoes are considered custom made. They cost less than $50 so it’s not like I’m out a ton of cash. I’m going to try ordering them again, I guess!

How big are they? I have used heel guards with some success. They are little stickies you stick on the curved part of the heel so your foot rests up against that instead of the back of the shoe. If they are only a little bit too big, that might be a good alternative and would save you another $50.

Maybe you could sell the bigger pair? I’ve had a terrible time finding lower heeled shoes too, and burgandy is a popular enough color, you could probably keep the money loss to a minimum that way.

@Krises: I can tightly fit my fingertip into the heel portion when the shoes are on. I’ve never heard of heel guards before, so I should look into them! Thanks for the advice! 🙂

I second using a heel guard (I am going to need one also) and it looks like from your picture that you could use a little pad in the front of the shoe to keep your foot from sliding down.
