Do you have a picture of the shoes? I think it would be fine to buy them before you buy a dress. You can take them with you to try on dresses. I tend to think that colored shoes look the best with simple dresses, instead of a really ornate overdone dress. But that’s just me.

Super cute! If you looooove the shoes, I don’t think there is a problem with getting them first… especially if you can return the shoes if you end up picking a dress they don’t go with ;).

I didnt get my shoes first but knew what I had in mind regardless of the dress.  The shoes are very cute and if you love them, get them.  If you think you can find another pair that would be as cute and possibly go better with the dress then I would wait a little bit.

I would wait to buy your shoes until after you have bought your dress, unless these shoes are going to be unavailable unless you get them now. Your dress is going to be much more visible on your wedding day than your shoes. You should be able to look at every option and not have to worry about using a $300 pair of shoes. But if they have a good return policy….hey, is there any harm in getting them just in case? They are very pretty…..

Why not? If you are a shoe person, more power to you. Then, after bringing your shoes with you to find that *perfect* dress, it will be all the more special when you find one that goes perfectly with the shoes that you adore!

Those shoes are adorable.  I don’t see anything wrong with buying your shoes first.  Just take them along with you when you go dress shopping.  I didn’t do this, but my mom did it for her MOB dress.  She had some kick-butt shoes and had to find a dress that worked with them.

So cute!  These really seem very versatile to me…is there not a good return policy for them?

Those shoes are so cute!  I actually purchased my wedding shoes yesterday (see picture) and got them for a great price.  My plan is to take them with me to try on dresses and those shoes will look great with anything!
