I am probably not the only person out there with this problem. My fiance is an inch shorter than me- in general. In real life, I don’t care about it at all. In fact, I rarely notice it… until I put on a pair of heals and tower over him. (Which he loves… sick, sick man! ;-)) For my wedding, however, I would like to have flats. My question to you is… have any of you found any stylish options for flats? I know I could do the ballet flat, but I would like other options. My wedding is in July, so I would love something less warm!!!
THANKS for your input!!

I wore ballet flats since Mr. Radish is also on the shorter side. Plus they were really comfortable and great to dance in.

Your fiance can also wear men’s latin dance shoes (when worn, they just look dress shoes). They have cuban heels, which are approx 1" high. If he’s not comfortable with the idea of wearing heels, check out pictures of Jason Taylor (NFL Football Player) and Mario Lopez on Dancing with the Stars. They look hot, the shoes improve posture, and no one thinks "he’s wearing heels!"
You can also wear gladiator style flats. There are tons of bejeweled beauties out there that are so appropriate for weddings.

I’m obsessed with flats- I would try piperlime.com or nordstrom.com and search for fancy flats- you didn’t mention what color you wanted- like off white or metallic or whatever, but they have great selection. . .

Try endless.com Here is a link to silver dress flats. And here is a link to white dress flats.
There are lots of options out there! Have fun!

My best tip is to use the "search" function at zappos.com and select flats to search through endless options. I really only wear flats (at 6’1) and my wedding shoes were Shannon Britt’s olivia.
You’ll definitely be able to find something out there!

Also check out J.Crew. They usually have at least one style of ivory satin flats. I was able to find what I thought was impossible… flats with an open toe!

I went with some cute white jeweled flats from Baker’s. They also have them in silver. Check out http://www.bakersshoes.com

I wore flats as well:
When they arrived I thought they might be uncomfortable, but they were super easy to break in and I thought they were great–they can also be dyed if you like (heel height is .25"–that’s about as low as it gets besides a ballet shoe)
