I found these on Zappos for under $100. Just select flats and silver for more options.

Did she tell you she wants to wear flats?

I severely broke my ankle in 3 different places a few years ago and I have two steel plates and 25 assorted screws and pins in my ankle, and I will be wearing 4″ heels with a 1/2″ platform. I am also middle aged.

The only reason I am asking is because I would never wear flats.

Interesting response. Just out of curiosity, what do you consider an evening flat? If metallic color, beading, details, sequins, etc. aren’t dressy enough, what are you looking for? I’m not sure how a flat shoe could be any fancier than that.

@staying_ms_shaw: I am sorry. I guess I am pretty lucky to have full movement. I hope you and her can find some nice evening flats that will be appropriate for her.
