Hi bees,
I have started looking for my shoes and I am having trouble finding something that is comfortable to wear on the wedding day for the whole day and yet looks great. I have been looking at bridal stores but I have to order the shoes without actually trying the shoe on which is very risky to me.
I would like to know where other brides got their shoes from? Any specific stores or online sites? and how was the experience with ordering shoes online or ordering off a catalog?
Thanks.

I ordered mine from a local bridal shop and I LOVE them. They’re pretty comfortable for like 30 minutes and that’s before being broken in, so I have high hopes for them lol. Here they are:

Well, I don’t know if this is a “classic look,” but they are white! LOL I got them at Marshall’s for $20. 🙂 Personally I would avoid the bridal stores – they tend to have crazy markups and I doubt the shoes are worth the $$. Try shopping online at Zappos or Endless for well-known brands – they have lots of options in white or colors, and at least you can return/exchange for free!

I went with a champagne/ivory color shoe. All of my BMs are wearing gold/champagne shoes so I wanted to match them!
go to http://www.dsw.com they have a good bridal selection!!! Mine only cost $40.

I like ordering from zappos.com. Free returns and you get 365 days to send something back.

I got my shoes at NinaShoes.com. They are colored shoes that don’t match anything in my wedding. They are very comfortable and fit true to size. If you choose shoes from Nina, make sure you order a size up, if you sometimes wear a size up. I am a consistant size 6 1/2, and that is what I ordered, and they fit perfectly. I didn’t need their customer service, so I can’t speak to that, but the shipping was fast. I also ordered my girls shoes from there, and they also fit them perfectly.

Depending on your dress style, your shoes are not visible. Who is going to wear white satin shoes again? Not me. Blue Jimmy Choos get my vote. 🙂

@Mrs.tobe: I just googled wedding shoes. They popped up and I LOVED them when I laid eyes on them. They are Martinez Valero Cameron
here is the link

I wonder if I would totally screw them up if I dyed them….

I was having an issue with the fact that my ladies are all getting to wear my favorite color so I am opting for teal shoes that match their dresses.
I am planning on buying them from David’s and haveing them dyed the oasis color… they have a new shoe that is a “comfort” heel that has a cusion built in already!

Mine! They are from Sears (online) and were $50 with shipping. I wasn’t able to try them on, but I ordered the size I usually am in a heel and they fit perfectly!

BOTH!! I wore classic, traditional white shoes for the ceremony and hot, fun red shoes for the reception!
Best of both worlds!
