Okay, So I found the perfect dress. It fits like a glove, totally beautiful on me. I’m having a hard time deciding what to do about shoes. I’m short, just shy of 5’3″ and my dress is just a tad too long, about 3 inches or so. My dress is a Maggie Sottero vogue in diamond white. The hem is intricate, I know from a lot of sewing experience it will be very difficult/expensive to hem. I live in flats and barefoot style shoes and or barefoot. I absolutely despise wearing high heels. They just hurt my feet and I can’t walk in them let alone wear them all day dancing, and we’re having an outdoor wedding. So I found last spring’s fad of “flatform” shoes. They’re just so ugly. I can’t find a pair that’s remotely bridal. I’d love any suggestions. I really want to just wear flats, and I might just cave and hem the dress. But it would be a lot easier to just find the right shoe. Any help would be so appreciated. Thanks in advance ladies!
