Last time I posted about Shoes of Prey, my shoes had arrived and whilst I loved them, they were way too big. Fortunately they offer a free remake and a really clever widgety type thing that asks you all sorts of answerable questions about length and size, making it easy for me to explain what was wrong (things like how many fingers can you get in the back, too wide, too narrow etc). You’re also able to make design changes, so I changed to pink satin at the front too, and I made a special request for an even lower wedge because I’m just not a heels girl.
Tada! Four weeks or so later my shoes have arrived and they’re PERFECT. For once I haven’t had to compromise on length to get the wide shoe I need. They actually stay on when I walk! That doesn’t happen with most shoes 😛 And they are so freaking comfortable. I can see myself wearing them all night 😀
Whilst they’re not a “budget” option I was prepared to spend more on wedding shoes and I couldn’t be happier. The only company I’ve dealt with that had better customer service was Apple (they replaced my sick, almost three-year-old, macbook pro for free so it’s fairly hard to beat that!). They’ve been attentive, friendly, there’s been continuity of service (dealt with the same person for honestly a month of playing with my design, she sent me photos of other shoes etc so I could perfect my design, and then when she went on holiday another woman took over and actually apologised that there was a change!) and nothing’s been too much hassle. They made the whole experience of custom designing my shoes fun but where it actually counts, the shoes themselves, they have one super happy customer 🙂
