@Junebug13: So I have stalked this site for ever and didn’t have much to contribute – however I cam across this post and just have to tell you how much I loved my wedding shoes! I used Milk and Honey – they were absolutely FABULOUS!!!! The design your own shoe and the live chat helped me out with the process! I would not hesitate to go with Milk and Honey Shoes!

I have purchased shoes from Milk and Honey a few times just for work and other things. They are really great quality.

i just designed my first pair of shoes with Milk and Honey – http://www.milkandhoneyshoes.com/

Nicole helped me out alot using the chat and then I had to call to change the heel height!

I’ll post back with the pics when I get them…

the only bummer is that they don’t do a blue sole…

I know this is an old thread, but did anyone end up ordering shoes from either Shoes of Prey or Milk and Honey? How did they come out? Were they comfortable? Do you have any pics?

I would also love to find out how comfortable the heels were- did anyone have issues with wearing their heels all day?

@AmyFarrahFowler:  Hi! I still follow wedding bee as a dear friend is planning her wedding… About the shoes- I loved my Milk and Honey shoes! Here is a picture of me in mine! They were exactly what I wanted and were so easy to order and the customer service was fabulous! I started wearing my shoes at noon for our photos and danced all night until the end of our reception at midnight. My feet were very happy. I totally suggest going with Milk and Honey. I don’t know about you, but my mom is a small business owner and I like dealing with family businesses as well since I know the customer service is better… Milk and Honey owned by 2 sisters which I think is cool. If you haven’t checked out their site you should.

@dayzof1der:  Just out of curiousity- the colour of your shoes was that the light blue or the peacock blue glitter?

I know this is an old post but I just wanted to add to it in case anyone else finds it! πŸ™‚

i have purchased shoes of prey shoes and I ADORE them! πŸ™‚ perfect fit, amazing customer service and just generally wonderfu.  Plus they have a much better returns policy in case you don’t like them (milk and honey why can we return narrow or wide shoes??)

so I would def. recommend shoes of prey! my next pair has already been ordered πŸ˜‰ x

I have just received my Shoes of Prey shoes, and I love, love, love them. They are stunning (if I may say so myself, as I designed them!), and the quality is superb. They came in in just over 4 weeks, and they were packed beautifuly. The customer service is amazing and the return policy is great too (365 days!). I’ve ordered mine a little wider (I just sent the width of my feet) and they fit so beautifully. Here’s a picture…

@Junebug13:  I used Design your Pedestal http://www.designyourpedestal.com  and I loved her. She chatted via etsy. and got me the most amazing shoes. She even took the extra time to dye them the exact color I wanted and help me match my style to my dress when I could not decide between 2 styles. I am so in love with my shoes, I can’t even tell you.

@LeopardPrintBee:  I am having a really difficult time finding exactly what I want for weddidng shoes, and have though about customizing.  You could even return Shoes of Prey shoes when they were customized?  How long did it take to get the shoes?  Thank you!

@Soon_to_be_wed

Hello! πŸ™‚ Yep you can!

The only time I think you can’t have a full refund (they keep £65) is when you order a pair with two different sizes (for example, the left is a size 6 and the right is a size 7).

But bar that, it’s all returnable! πŸ™‚

I have two pairs and adore both of them! They took about 4 weeks to arrive.

My second pair actually came with a small problem, but they promptly refunded those, including my shipping back to them (as credit on my account) and remade me a new pair with arrived in about 2 weeks.

They also pay all your customs and import duties too πŸ™‚ x

SoP is less expensive compared to M&H. Also, if you have strange feet like mine (one’s an 8.5w the other is an 8ww, also i have short toes, so my feet never sit in heels right) you can even send in pics of your feet with a ruler for scale and they can shape the shoes to fit you better! Great for anyone with differently sized feet, high arches, etc. And you’re allowed to actually return shoes that aren’t standard sized, tho they do have a small restocking fee. I love them madly.

They’re also a lot more flexible about personalization that doesn’t appear in their customization wizard. You just have to give them a call/email/chat and they can help you out.

Personally, after talking to both M&H and SoP about what I wanted, I chose SoP without hesitation. I’m really glad I did.
