My good friend, who is also a bee on here, designed her shoes on Shoes of Prey.  She loved them and said they were super comfy.  They looked beautiful and she didn’t take them off all day/night.

These are my wedding pictures that show my shoes that I designed on Milk and Honey Shoes. They were designed by me so I knew that I would love them and they were super comfortable too! The site was so easy to use and the shoes came in a cute package and in a timely manner! Definitely look at Milk and Honey! My feet were happy…

I designed my shoes for my wedding with Milk and Honey. I wanted orange shoes but I also wanted to incorporate vintage earrings that belonged to my grandmother. I couldn’t find any orange shoes that I could add them to. I found a style i liked on the milk and honey website but wanted to change it slightly (color, straps, heel height) and with their shoe builder I was able to do that! They helped me figure out the size and heel height that I needed. I had ankle surgery several years back so it was important to me that these shoes were comfortable. And they were! I wore them the entire day, danced through the reception and to the after party. Usually as a guest I’m barefoot by the end of the reception. The best part is that I can wear them again. Heres a picture of them- they also have many photos of real weddings on their facebook page. .

Just thought I would post to add my penny’s worth about custom shoes, particularly Shoes of Prey.

Firstly, my experience was second to none! The team are incredible, attentive and place the customer first. I loved every second of dealing with them and all of our guests (300 at that) seemed to notice the shoes of all things!!!

I absolutely loved the orange and how each of the girls could design their own style but keep it all uniform. Our shoes were super comfy and beautifully made. The best part is we can all wear them again as they are not white and bridal and make any outfit pop!!!!

I should also add that I too had awesome customer service at Shoes of Prey. I wanted to use the large silk flower embellishment on my pair, but I noticed in pictures that it came out highly variable–sometimes it was wrapped really tight and other times it seemed to lay more flat in this very soft relaxed way. I only wanted it if it would be the soft, relaxed one, so I emailed their customer support and asked about it–they said each silk flower was handmade and each technician did them differently but if I included a link to the gallery picture with an example of what I wanted they’d show it to the techs and make sure I got that version. I did, they did, and the shoes came out exactly like I wanted. I couldn’t believe how helpful they were!

Just wanted to add my experience with Milk and Honey shoes! After searching everywhere to find shoes that I loved and could pair with my gorgeous Jcrew Violette, I had almost given up until I looked at Milk and Honey. I designed a pair I loved, Navy and Pearl leather peep toe t strap pumps, only 2 inches just like I wanted and put a light turquoise leather bow on the toe. I was in love! but I decided to sleep on it. The more I thought about it the more I really wanted a flower on the toe, to match the beautiful flowers on my dress!

When I went back to switch it there was only one flower embellishment I could add, a tight rosebud that didn’t seem to go with my light, petaled organza flowers. Then while browsing the inspiration gallery on the site I found a pair of pumps with the perfect petaled flower on the toe! But where was it in the design program?

I contacted Milk and Honey and was greated by one of the owners Dorian! She was so helpful, humble, down to earth and pleasant. She told me the flower I desired was no longer available via the design your own shoes program but she could special order it for me. She sent me a link to the special order so I could order the flower and my shoes which saved me another $15! Then she sent me my own coupon code since one I had a generic one wasn’t working for me and that saved me another $50 (not to mention they’re doing free shipping right now). She was so patient with me, answered all my questions and spent a good hour talking to me to help me order just what I wanted. When I was concerned that my special order fell into the exception clause on their return policy and I would not be able to return or exchange my shoes should they not come out like I thought they would, she reassured me she would let me exchange them.

My shoes won’t be here for 8 weeks, but I will post pictures when they are here, but I am so excited to get them and was amazed by the wonderful customer service I got at Milk and Honey. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend them!
