(Closed) SHOES! Outdoor ceremony & indoor reception! Need help!

@weddinggirl614:  I would go with those sole covers for your shoes. Or just have a cheaper pair of shoes that you don’t mind if they get ruined for the ceremony. 🙂

I would find a pair of wedges with a similar height as your kate spades… I wore a stiletto for pics/ceremony and the heel sunk into the ground quite a bit!

I actually had wedges for my reception (that I should have worn for the whole thing!) that I found on zappos I think… Zappos and Nordstrom are both good b/c they have free/easy returns, so you can order lots of pairs to try on Smile  Darling Husband still talks about all the boxes of shoes that showed up at the house before our wedding.

I changed from platform heels to hiking boots. My dress was the perfect length for the hiking boots, so was a bit off the ground with the heels. It was really no big deal.

I would suggest getting your dress altered to your lower shoes, and then get some killer heels you want to show off!
