I wear Danskos.  Pretty much exclusively.  They look good on me with jeans because I have really small feet…

This is not me.  I googled “danskos with jeans” and this girl popped up.

If I’m not wearing flat boots (or just cute cheap flats I get from the mall), I wear boat shoes. Good for walking, looks good with straight jeans, and I think they’re cute!

I just bought some adorable Minnetonka moccasins yesterday and I love them! I have the kitty suede ones in grey from Macy’s. They were on sale here for $35.

Also I love Merells. The new line has a bunch of barefoot type shoes with super thin soles which aren’t for me bc I need some support. There are some others that have support though. Clark’s makes great shoes too. A lot of leather ones that look nice with jeans. Both brands hold up really well.

Sorry, no pics…this site won’t let me post them from my iPad. Google them though! : )

If you can find a higher end shoe store that carries those brands, usually they are knowledgeable about helping you find good ones for your feet/style. There is a family owned store like that here and they are super helpful.

I still own Danskos but have converted to Sanita.  They used to be the same company but parted ways in 2007.  Sanita is still made exclusively in Europe.  Dansko is now more and more made in China, and I feel the quality just isn’t the same anymore.  Which is sad because I live very close to the Dansko outlet.  Oh well.  I’m still bitter over how I tried selling a pair of Sanita clogs on eBay and mentioned they were similar to Dansko.  Dansko spies requested my listing be taken down. They lost me as a customer for certain that day.

@pfinarffle:  Just checked, mine are actually Sanitas.  The store where I buy them has a Dansko sign above them, but I think a few years ago started selling Sanitas instead.  I wonder how they get away with that!

@peachacid:  Wow. That’s super weird. Based on my experience with the eBay listing, it really seems that Dansko is super territorial for the US market… Maybe they are trying to make different styles? I know Dansko doesn’t do wooden soles at all. Dansko seems to have more styles in high heels. But there are many instances where they use the same exact styles and even have the same names and colors in the styles. ???

I have a pair of these Munro boots I bought at Nordstrom a million years ago, ok maybe 10+ and they are super comfortable. In the fall/winter I wear them with jeans all the time. They would be great if you’re doing a lot of walking. Try them on and you’ll be hooked. Super comfy!!!

I love, love, love my Sperry’s with jeans. They are SO comfortable. Took a bit to break in around the heel but the footbed in the leather ones is amazing. I also dont think you can go wrong with a cute pair of flats but for long hours of walking I would absolutely wear my Sperrys.

I love Sperry’s…

The classic pair:

I also love the leopard ones with dark bootcut jeans and red accessories ( like a scarf or necklace)

@floridagirlblue:  Its because they actually have support and you can wear them all day 🙂 If you wore flats without support ALL day you’d be in trouble!!
