I would try to play down the silver if your colors involve gold and either do a shoe in the color of your dress (ivory?) or black or maybe a gold/silver (that lt. gold color that almost looks silver until you really look at it. Or, I would wear a silver shoe and change the wedding colors to black and silver. However, I should admit I have a huge provlem with mixing metallics so if you are okay with that, wear gold shoes!

You could always do a fun colored shoe instead! I am having blue shoes as my something blue. My friend is doing purple peep toes because they are her favorite color. Just a thought 🙂

You can absolutely mix gold and silver jewelry as long as they are similar styles, so I think you can wear gold shoes with silver jewelry. Since your colors are black and gold I would wear gold shoes because I don’t think silver shoes would really make sense with your color scheme.

My wedding dress had a silver applique lace bodice and I wore gold heeled strappy Stuart Weitzman heels. Normally I would never do this But…
-Had shoes for almost 5 yrs and never worn.
-Tight wedding budget.
-Shoes are gorgeous. And style was perfect for my Gurl, wedding dress, and reception dress.
I say go for comfortable shoes that you love. No one will see your shoes unless you show people. When ppl did see my shoes @ the reception, changed into a different dress, everyone remarked how well they matched. LOL

I had the same problem! I got a sort of silver-pewter color that I’m calling light blue. 😉 I think a nude color would be a good compromise, too!

I would do colored shoes? If you have any wedding decor/accents in a color other than black or gold I would pick that. I would not pair gold with your dress and silver might look weird if everyone else is wearing gold shoes. I would pick silver over the gold though.

I love the price too!

I’d say go with the gold. My friend recently bought a pair of heels where the heel was gold and the rest was silver. Maybe you could find something like that?

I have an ivory dress but all silver accents and jewelry. My shoes are a gold champagne color and I think it works well still.
