This dress has so much going on. i agree with the no necklace. I would go with a nice pair of drop earrings and some simple beige heels. I think the gems would clash with the dress.

I would definitely go with dark jewelry, like the model.  Looks like she has chocolate diamonds on…but I’m guessing… I wouldn’t do pearls unless you go with a darker pearl.  Diamonds or crystals would clash.  Are you wearing a veil?

Does the dress reflect the darker color in the picture? What color is it exactly?

I love the dress! I would probably skip the necklace and go with drop earrings and proably nude heels.

@JplusJ:  Definitely no necklace, and I vote for diamond earrings. I think diamond drop earrings of some sort would look beautiful with the gown:

As for shoes, in my culture (or at least in my immediate community), if you’re wearing such a detailed, ornate gown and you have boring shoes on, you’re going to get laughed out of the building. So, I think a jeweled sandal would look lovely as long as it’s not too OTT (though an unadorned strappy heel would like nice, as well):

@JplusJ:  If it’s ivory, then a color would look lovely, as well.

And don’t worry, it wasn’t until I happened across this photo in my search that I realized the strappy would look lovely with your gown. 🙂

Such a stunning dress. I would skip the necklace (I always seem to say that, but I can’t help that I think bare clavicles are the most beautiful part of a woman wearing a strapless gown). Go for vintage-style drop earrings instead. Will you do a veil?

As for shoes, I think you need shoes that do justice to the formality and elegance of the gown. I would do delicate but fancy shoes, if that makes sense. I like the beaded strappy sandals suggested earlier…and these would work too. Something with a hint of sparkle and some vintage, maybe 1920s elements.
