Its scary.

I freaked out when I heard and called my friend (who works in the building, usually gets in a little before 9:00).  Thankfully she didn’t have to be in until 10:30 today.  She’s worried about her students though, who get in around that time.

I just heard about this on the radio. This is so messed up. I’m not even in NY, but my heart is with everyone who is.

So sad, I hope all the NYC bees are okay! It just sickens and saddens me so much that there are people like this out there in the world…I just don’t understand what makes someone want to kill innocent people they don’t even know? And how do these people end up with guns? (not starting a gun control debate, just saying it’s sad and I wish there was some magic way of preventing this.)

SO sad and senseless.  I can’t even believe that this has happened so many times this summer.  Once was once too many. 🙁

This is seriously getting ridiculous. I don’t even want to leave my own house anymore.

This summer is up to what, 3 mass shootings now? Horrible.

I’m getting ready to take the train in now…meeting Darling Husband at work. It’s so scary….the fact that this can happen anywhere at any time. You aren’t safe anywhere you go.

So sad. Everyone in our office is on edge now. Granted we;re higher up in the avenues, but still its so unnerving.

Oh god this is so scary!  It is pretty close my job, but I did not see anything about it until the TV in the break room.  I hope all the victims pull through.  So sad and senseless 🙁

It’s seriously like some creepy science fiction novel.

“In the year 2012, it was decided that every man, woman, and child would be required to wear a bulletproof vest, as random gunfire had become so rampant in broad daylight.”

Pretty close to my job too.  So sad and shocking.  We’re all really glad to see it’s not a terrorist attack.  Everyone was really worried when we saw it was at the ESB.
