That’s so weird – I get that too when I’m super hungry. Usually it goes away, but once I was eating super healthy because I thought that would help (grapes, veggies, protein, carbs, water). By the end of the day, I had a candy bar and that fixed it. It was so weird.

Hope you find some relief!

call your doctor. are you sure it’s not contractions? I thought I had gas and my midwife made me go to L&D and I was having contractions because I was dehydrated. I would just call.

It sounds somewhat similar to the sharp pain I get in my lower abdomen when I’m walking too much. My suspicion is that it’s round ligament pain but actually I have no idea so it’s worth calling your doc or midwife about it.

Piggybacking on what Flamingred said– what you’re describing doesn’t sound like the contractions I’ve been experiencing at all, but then every woman is different so yeah, I’d still say it’s worth a call to your medical office.

@red_seattle: the first contractions I ever felt, felt like I had to go to the bathroom or I had bad gas or something. I had NO idea, and I was at one of my routine appointments and she was like GET TO L&D now. They felt really different from the contractions I had when I delivered thought-it is weird, but I did see them on the contraction monitor-contracting away. lol.

Glad you’re feeling better, I’ve not experienced that (yet) but it doesn’t sound like any fun.  Maybe it was a combo of being hungry and a pulled muscle?
