Hi Bees!!
So do anyof you love bridesmaid dress shopping?? I keep looking and hate everything or I feel it would cost to much to ask girls to pay!
Im having a gatsby inspired wedding! The dress can be long or short ! I am wearing lace! have not finalized my dress yet but very vintage or classic! I think I prefer flowy over tight for bridesmaids. I love the 1920s style but It should not look like a costume. Vintage inspierd is preferred over flapper. It must come in purple ! All girls must wear same dress same way.Last I woud like it to cost 200 or less no more than $220 for sure !!!
I would appreciate any help Im so lost here!

I like these, adrianna papell (Nordstroms)

These are the dresses my girls are wearing, Also doing a gatsby theme…my girls range in size from 2P to 10 and short to 5foot 11, looks good on all of them 🙂

if your bridesmaids are on the smaller side I would suggest checking out asian fashion sites like yesstyle.com. I very quickly found this mid-length lavender dress with lace for $31 (free shipping and easy returns). You can search by color and there are tons of options that might be even more to your taste.

Another option would be getting very simple dresses (like the ones you might find at american apparel) and adding a pretty sash/belt/lace accent. A beautiful sash can make even the simplest dress look elegant and bridesmaid appropriate (just as a veil can transform a simple white evening dress into a bridal gown).

Sorry, I had selective reading…lol! Didn’t realize price point at first or that they had to be purple. I just got excited when I saw Gatsby theme, lol!! Here’s an idea in purple. (Pisarro Nights – Nordstroms.com)

Or if you want long…

I’m leaning towards a dress from ASOS, although I have a smaller budget for Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses than you.
They have tons of cute dresses though, and do free shipping worldwide!
Mod cloth also has some cute vintage-y dresses
