Ughhh how horrible.  I coudn’t find anything in person for my bridal shower or rehearsal/rehearsal dinner… I ended up ordering a super cute dress online from fashiontofigure.com – there’s lots of ‘plus size’ stores that will have amazing dresses that allow you to feel gorgeous, not huge.  It took me awhile to feel comfortable shopping at them, but honestly, now it makes me feel much more self-confident to be able to fit in a middle size dress, not try to squish into the largest size in the store!

@FutureMrsHallam:  I dnt think inokuru was trying to b rude. I think she’s saying that theirs two options which is to try to fit the stores criterion regarding their sizing or find a place that will have the right sizes for u that u cn b comfortable in. This reminds me of a recent thread on Victoria’s Secret about bosom blessed women who hate going to Vickie’s bcz of their measurements. I’m sorry your experience was so horrible and I’m sure you will find something gorgeous at a location that embraces who you are. All sizes are beautiful look at queen Latifah, she’s not a size 2 but healthy and beautiful

@inukoro1177:  That is SO rude. There are much better ways to offer “constructive criticism” which I HOPE is what you were aiming for.

@FutureMrsHallam:  I’m sorry your dress hunting went poorly. Perhaps try some online stores? Asos is a personal favourite of mine. Good range and pretty good prices. πŸ™‚

it sounds like she was very rude about it … i rememeber being size 14 pushing a 16 and being given a hard time a year or so ago by a shop girl who didnt want me trying something on in the large (witch ended up fitting) she was worried i rip it or something …. i ended up going to the same store in a different city and buying that dress…its terrible when ppl give you hard time like that i am very sorry you are going through that

@FutureMrsHallam:  They generally ship pretty quickly and have offers like this

Free 2-day shipping
SPEND $125 AND USE PROMO CODE AUEXPRESS*

Not that I’d spend $125 just to get free shipping though haha. Good luck with your search though.
