I bought mine here:

http://amarabridalboutique.com/

because I couldn’t find anyone that had my dress in stock so I could try it on. They gave me $100 off (more off if the dress had been more expensive) and the custome service was really awesome. I have not gotten in yet (I will in November) but I am very pleased so far.

I bought mine in person but they have the option to buy online, BHLDN is where I got my dress and I am beyond excited and happy with my dress laughing The shipping was speedy and I just loved everything about my experience with them.

I recently bought one online and it arrives tomorrow. I bought it from thelastminutebride.com (which I discovered though preownedweddingdresses.com).

Originally I found a dress I liked on a designers website and I called around to local salons and no one had a sample I could try on. Took a peek at preowned and there was the dress I’d been searching high and low for being sold by The Last Minute Bride. It was a little more than half off retail so I figured, screw it, I haven’t had a ton of luck with gowns so far so why not try this.

They have a refund policy (all clearly explained on their site) so other than your standard return charges I’m not risking a lot. If I love it, I got my dress for a great deal. If I don’t I can return it and then I’ll get my runner up dress I picked out at a salon. You should check them out.

I second the BHLDN recommendation – I was able to go in and try dresses on, but the shipping was fast and the process was really easy!

I bought my dress from Tradesy. If you’re looking for a pre-owned or sample dress, that’s a good place to check!

foxxysoxx :  Turns out it wasn’t exactly what I wanted. The dress was absolutely lovely and in magnificent condition, but it just wasn’t for me.

They’ve been really helpful with the return process and I’m back on the search starting tomorrow.

I bought mine from The Wedding Shoppe. I was a bit hesitant due to the mixed reviews, but everything went really well! I got the dress a month before the ETA they’d given me, and it arrived in perfect condition, inside a nice muslim cover bag. They kept me updated through the whole process and were very polite with my queries.

Aand the price was pretty good. 🙂

I did! My dress was gorgeous and after a little refund cost about $60! Lightinthebox.com I read a ton of reviews and ordered one size up as recommended. It had beading details that needed to be fixed a little and my Mother-In-Law was nice enough to do it for me. I figured it was worth the $80 gamble. I still love my dress and have no regrets. I got so many compliments on it. Here is a pic of it on the model 🙂
