I’m 16 months PP and trying for baby #2. We got pregnant first cycle with baby #1… I had regular 28 day cycles… with great cervical fluid. Hip hip hurray!
Fast forward to now.
I’ve had 11 periods since my baby was born. They are coming every 23-26 days. I usually start spotting at day 22.
I appear to be getting a rise in the LH around day 12. Seems like my LP is short? Maybe progesterone is low?
if anyone could shed some light I would appreciate it.
I got to the doctor this week. Trying to see what kind of questions to ask, tests to be run… Etc.

How many cycles have you been trying? Are you breastfeeding?

I have been not preventing for 11 cycles now and charting each month. We’ve had sex many months during the suspected fertile period with no pregnancy.
Ive been using OPKs for 5 cycles now with a LH rise and super positive on day 12. Some cycles the LH surge seems to last 2 days though.
I AM still nursing. When I went in for my well woman my doctor told me to start spreading out our nursing sessions. We’ve gone from 7-8x a day to just 2x and it’s not changed my cycles at all :/
I’m suspecting she will tell me to quit all together if I really want to increase my chances. I guess I just normally hear women talk about how far apart their cycles are when they are nursing and never the other way around.

When I came of BC, I had 23-25 day cycles for several months. Absolutely no harm in this!
I will say that your fertile window is immediately after the last day of your period. I remember I once got a positive OPK on like CD 9 or something crazy like that. After 4-5 monthes, I was back at a 27-28 day cycle. I would for sure start OPKs as soon as your period ends so you know that day you ovulate or about to ovulate
24 weeks with baby boy now!
