So I don’t have my first dress appointment until the end of October. All the dresses I was looking at online were long A-line. Then I went in to the dress shop just to see what they had and I saw this dress…. I just thought it was really cute and fun looking. Now I’ve decided that I just have to try it on, just to see how it looks. I’m not sure this style will look really good on me (I’m a little hippy so my lower half is an 8 where my upper half is more 4/6) Have any other bees thought they knew exactly what you want and then see something that wasn’t even on your radar?
I’m attaching of the dress that’s throwing my whole dress finding game off!

@divergirl: sdfshal that dress is awesome! I think the a-line flare on the dress will probably be pretty flattering to your body type.
Where did you find that dress? Now I want it too! 🙂

I knew right away that I wanted a shorter length and that dress was one of the first pictures I saved when I first started looking!! So pretty.
I ended up with the Michelle Roth "Maya."

What a pretty dress! I loves it! There’s so many options out there that once you get to looking you’ll be amazed at what you thought you wanted and what you end up with are so vastly different.

I love the tea length dresses–so feminine. I considered it but nobody wants to see my legs.

All these dresses are lovely! I would have love to have gone with a full tea-length dress, but my Fiance (and because of the weather) insists that there be a little bit more length 🙂

@Entangled: I found it in Casablanca its style 1889 S.
I was also thinking I would probably fall in LOVE with this dress if it was a little longer kind of like Theresa90405’s picture. I’m a real sucker for vintage 1950’s style dresses….. They do have a longer version of this dress.. it looks a little funny with all of the layers, but maybe they could make it shorter to a tealength instead of lengthening this one?
