I’m not doing this for my wedding, but i wonder if you could talk to whoever is doing your dress alterations.  I feel like if they can take the top off of one dress and put it on another, surely they can tailor the dress of your dreams to show off your shoes.  I would hate for you to limit your dress selections by looking for ones that already meet your expectations (I haven’t seen any like this but I also haven’t been looking)

Here is a great idea, have your seamstress do a “front bustle” on your gown that way you can wear it long for the ceremony and then have the front bustled up so you can show off your hem. It will result in a “high / low” hem that will look great on many dresses, some fabrics and styles it doesn’t do so well on but check with your salon / seamstress. Best of luck!

i was crazy about having a high/low dress for my wedding, but i didn’t manage to find one that was timeless enough in my price range.  i also wanted to show off my shoes but decided that a short second dress was the way to go!

if you still want to go the wedding dress route, i agree with the front bustle or hemming your dress.  just becareful about the hemming route because depending on the style, it might look just like you cut it too short!

There is a sticky at the top of the Main Board that tells you how to use Google Image Search. It comes in handy for challenges like this.
