I am a short hair bride! 🙂

I’m wearing the veil from my aviator pic for the ceremony, and a flower sort of like yours for the reception. (I’ll wear it on the side where O part my hair.)  My hair is a bit shorter now than it was in that photo – much like the Selma pic you posted.

You will be a beautiful bride!

I’m a short haired bride- or, at least, was? Family pressure and my own complete indecision has led my hair to actually hit my jaw bone! Oh no! I think you’ll make a great short haired bride- love the flower! Personally, I’ve been leaning towards finger waves (very 1920’s flapper hair), but can’t find someone in my area who is competent in them with my thin, fine white girl hair (there are some African-American hair salons which said they could do it, but then they met my hair and changed to “hell-to-the-no!”

Here is some of my short hair inspiration:

@Adeline-I heart your haircut! I’ve been wanting to chop all my hair off forever, you might have just given me the cajones to go do it!

That’s amazing! My hair is just a bit shorter than yours in the picture above. I’m totally in the same mind set as you, it’s just hair! I’ve never been overlly attached to my hair or a certain hairstyle. I’m going to make an appointment to go in this weekend and take the plunge, *excited squeeeal*!

I love the fingerwaves idea, bit am too afraid of not looking like myself. It took a while to adjust to the shorter hair after having it long all my life, but i LOVE it. I feel alternately sassy, glamorous, fun, grown up….

This is the FH and I in the last pic of us with hair and one of the first pictures of us sans hair…. (He was starting chemo the following week.)

@libra, LOVE the shorter cut! Y’all are a beautiful couple, I don’t know exactly what’s going on with your FH but I hope for healing soon! Prayers are sent your way =]
