I get really upset when I can never find any pictures and when I find something tittled short hair its to the sholders. Im doing a fascinator. Ive talked a lot about it with my hair dresser which I found has helped.

How short is short? If its a “boy” cut, I think a tiara could look really feminine and sweet. A longer bob, I would probably go with a birdcage or a flower headpiece.

A tiara would look great, or a lace/floral headband. They have some great ones on etsy.

Ya my hair is a little shorter. I was thinkign of growing out for the wedding but short hair is just too me to ignore it for the most important day. You could definetively do very well with a headband however.

I attended a wedding once where the bride had short hair that was normally really cute and sort of a pixie cut. She chose to have her hair curled and wore a traditional veil and it was not a good look. It ended up being similar to a grandma perm. Im guessing that isnt what you want? LOL. Go with something cute and fun that matches your hairstyle. Short hair isnt traditional anyway so just consider it a unique way to showcase that part of you! Fasinators are amazing on short hair as are headbands. Just make sure it matches who you are and you dont end up looking like a grandma or an infant. Good luch!

I have short hair too, same length as yours! I want so badly to wear a long veil for the ceremony but Im afraid it will look silly.  I’ll prob do a fab birdcage with a fascinator.  You should do the same, think of short hair as a cool unique positive, rather than a problem to be solved.

I thought about growing it out, but why?  I have always had short hair as long as I’ve known him.  And why try a new hairstyle when I might look back in ten years and think “I wish I’d just looked like myself on the most important day of my life”.

Jaw length hair here, and I’ll be wearing this kooky cocktail hat w/birdcage veil from Barbara Feinman Millinery in NYC

edit:  sorry for the multiple posts: my connection froze

Though this is an old thread, I thought some reference photos may help future short-haired brides.

I think a haircomb or flower on the side would look great or a birdcage would look lovely aswell as a headband.
