Yep, I’ve seen Honeyfund mentioned around here several times – maybe run a site search on it? There’s a search box in the top of the side bar on the right. 🙂

There are also a lot of other honeymoon registries out there, so it might not hurt to research a bit before choosing one.

I just did a search in Google for “honeymoon registries” and quite a few came up.  Definitely look into what percent they take out of what your guests contribute.  For me, that was the part I didn’t like.  I would prefer that people just give money directly just so a third-party vendor wasn’t taking part of the amount.  Just my opinion though…

Of course, guests may choose to give gifts instead of using a honeymoon registry or giving money.

Wellll…since you aren’t getting married for two years, why is that not long enough to save the money to pay for it yourself? You have plenty of time!

I have a few friends who have used honeyfund and they really thought it was easy to do and totally recommend it – it’s what we plan as well!

Question.  This may or may not be silly.  By setting up a honeymoon registry, are you sort of just diverting cash you would otherwise be receiving anyway?  What is the difference whether someone gives you fifty dollars, or buys you “a massage on your honeymoon” for fifty dollars?  Thoughts?

I would just save up for now… you’re going to lose out by going through one of those sites (I hear that there are hidden fees).
