Well ladies, we’ve had quite the wedding adventure over the past few years.
My husband and I married in September 2011. We had a small city hall ceremony in New York City (our town) and then had a small “engagement” type ceremony in Turkey following that.
Two years later we’ve finally had our big wedding receptions to celebrate with friends and family. We held one in New York and the other in Mersin, Turkey. We also had a fantastic “engagement” (or should we just all it a “love”) session in Central Park with our awesome photographers too. We’ve got TONS of photos to share, but the only ones that are share-ready is a slideshow put together by 1313, our wedding photographers for our New York reception (they’re based out of Miami Florida in case anyone is lucky enough to live near them!)
This is our slideshow from our June 28, 2013 wedding reception/marriage celebration in Brooklyn, NY at Giando on the Water.
Take a look, and brace yourself for more to come in the next week or so! 🙂

@AirForceWife78: Thank you so much. I really love my rings too. 🙂 The plain rose gold band was my original wedding ring (from our city hall ceremony) and will always be very very special to me. The other rings are new. The ring with the stones are morganite and white topaz.
@dressedinlovexo: Thanks for your kind words. 🙂
I actually made the invitations myself. I loved doing it, and dream of opening my own etsy shop someday.
I also made the headpiece myself, and had the overskirt of my dress made to fit it as well. I’ll share pictures later of the original dress underneath. I took the overskirt off about halfway through the reception.

@multinational: UMMMM you need to own your own etsy shop ASAP! I would certainly purchase 😉
I love that not only were you a crafty bride…but a TALENTED crafty bride. It looks like something truly professionally made/done. It also added for a personal touch on your own wedding day!
