Hi ladies! I hope you are all having a good weekend thus far! I have a question/desperate favor. I want to change into a shorter reception dress but am having a lot of trouble finding a cute one with a vintage feel [lacey, form fitting] that isn’t over 1,000 dollars! I’d preferrably like to stay under $500 and I just can not find anywhere that really has a good selection for that cost. I don’t want to pay the price of another wedding dress if it’s just going to be a shorter, fun flirty cocktail like dress! I want to be able to wear again [summer cocktail parties, dinner parties or out to dinner on the honeymoon].
I’ve tried Nordstroms and although they have some, I’m just not wowed. Priscilla of Boston’s cost over $2000! Ah! Help!

Modcloth and ShabbyApple might have something. I know Modcloth (though they run small) has a couple of lacey ones. 🙂

I was thinking of this one to change into for our reception. I am going for the same feel. It is an Alfred Angelo 1142. They have a few other tea length dresses that might be an option for you. I called them to see if they had this one in stock and they do. I also asked them the price and they told me $399.00.

@noritake22: We are almost date twins! Ah! Thank you for that idea! I used AA for my bridesmaid dresses but didn’t even think to look there. Where are you getting married?
