It…looks like an ice skating costume. Not pretty to me. But your opinion IS the only one that matters.

I wore a short dress as I eloped too..

Im all for short dresses for weddings but they need to have that classy look too. It depends on preference but I think that one your looking at is a bit too short.. and a weird contrast to the long sleeves!

 

I love the back though. 

 

Keep looking so we can have some comparisons! 🙂

grandm:  I love the idea of this dress, but I agree with a pp comment about it looking like an ice skating costume. If the skirt were longer, I think it would look more bridal.

grandm:  I like that one! It works well because the top is mostly covered up, so the bottom is like a surprise! (I’m eloping, too, and not wearing a “traditional” dress – I’m wearing a red evening gown, BTW)

I say, go for it! The dress is sassy and fun – it’s perfect for an elopement!

Ditto on the looking like an ice skating costume. While the sleeves and back are gorgeous, he skirt just doesn’t say bridal. I love the DB one that Bridey77 posted.

I agree with other posters, while the dress is beautiful its to short in my opinion. You should get what you love though!
