I’m 4’11” so I had the same worries! This is the dress that I’m getting! I am wearing heels in the photo.

I am 5’2″ and wore a giant silk ballgown by Pronovias. I wanted a lace mermaid fit gown, but everyone loved this one and it felt more like a “wedding dress” to me. Sometimes I have dress regret though because I hate that it was strapless and a little bit boring :(I am hoping that my husband and I can renew our vows in a few years and I can get a more slimming lace dress for that occasion. Whatever you do buy something that YOU love. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks.

I am 5’1 and 1/2. def stand on the pedestal and try on with shoes. Here’s my dress. Have you gone shopping again? Depending on what kind of dress you want you can also explore bridesmaids/prom dresses, someone posted a thread about them and I couldn’t believe they were not wedding gowns. Anyway, here’s my dress

LileeRN_88:  Thank you! I’m a bit obsessed with it myself. It’s Casablanca Couture B080 http://cbcouturebridal.com/do-collections/volume-viii#postID=592&postURL=http%3A//cbcouturebridal.com/collections/b080

princesserbear:  That’s so sweet! Thank you! I actually felt pretty incredible as is in the dress… which I did NOT think was possible. I felt great, but think I can look even with a little weight loss. I’m not stressing myself out too much over it, but its something I want to do regardless of getting married and wearing the dress.

I am 5’2.5 (the .5 is v. important. I was wearing 3.5 inch heels for the very early photos, but quickly switched to more manageable 1.5 inchers. Dress was Wtoo, shortened to ballerina length

kma5660: Thanks!!! I think yours is beautiful and timeless and regal. It was definitely comfortable, and perfect for going bar hopping post wedding (we got married in New Orleans– so train-free, easy to manage was a requirement)

Jkins82: That means so much to me…Thank you! Your wedding sounds like it was so much fun. I am dying to visit New Orleans. My husband is from Spain so we got married there. Both amazing places to have weddings ๐Ÿ™‚
