I’m a petite bride and ended up going with an A-line. I love the horsehair look as well but the tiers looked overwhelming when I tried the style on in store. It might be different for you, but I think A-line are classic for a reason!

I love the horsehair, but I’m biased because I had a horsehair gray dress haha.

I LOVE THAT HORSEHAIR SKIRT!
I fell in love with a layered dress like that, but the alterations were going to cost so much I went with an A-line. To be completely honest, the A line looked signifcantly better on me. I didn’t think I looked particulary short in either of them and I’m around 5’4, but that also wasn’t something I was paying much thought to.
In that sense, fit and flares probably made me look the most enlongated.

I am 5’3 and curvy. The a line hid my shape which I hated with a passion. The tiers didn’t do my any favors because I am very short waisted so I looked like boobs with a waist and unexplained layers. It was just not exciting, lol I wound up with a fit and flare that makes me feel AMAZING.

Hmmm, well it’s my understanding that a dropped waist will pretty much always make a short girl’s lower body look shorter. Unless you have really long legs for your height that is.
