I haven’t seen shot glasses lately.  I personally don’t like them, but it’s your wedding, so you have to love them! 🙂  What about Eat, Drink, and be Married?

I like the Eat Drink & Be Married, and maybe then your wedding date on the bottom, centered?

A family friend did shot glass favors; they had the Chinese double happiness symbol on it, they were nice!  I would suggest a monogram of you and your FI’s initials and the date, simple and a reminder of the event.

Ya know, I don’t typically like favors, but I actually think this is a cute idea!  I agree with the others, I think “Eat, Drink, and be Married” is a cute thing to have on them, along with your wedding date.

I think shot glasses are a nice idea and I like that it has a connection with your hobby. But, I would vote against putting your initials and/or wedding date on them. As a guest, I really don’t want things with someone else’s wedding info on it. Just a thought.

That’s what we did!  Our guests really liked them, we even had people call the next day and ask if we had any extra.

We put a Texas star on one side and myfirstname & hisfirstname on the other.  We picked a Texas star because we had many out of town guests, and our wedding was (lightly) Texas themed.

I understand the not wanting stuff with other people’s wedding info on it (my mother’s concern as well) but people typically pick up shot glasses as a souvenier/reminder of some event, like getting them from places you visit.  If people happily use a shot glass that says “NYNY” then I don’t see what’s so bad about a wedding shot glass.

@MissIntent:  I totally agree with this. We collect shot glasses or koozies from different places we go. It helps you remember where you got them. It think they are a great way for your guests to remember the day!! I am thinking of doing the koozies.
