i am wearing a beautiful cultured pearl necklace and matching pearl stud earrings for my wedding. (my fi gave them to me). i do not have a “good” pearl bracelet. i have a cheap one but beside the good pearls, it looks cheap so i don’t want to wear it. i do have a gorgeous diamond bracelet that i only wear on special occasions. it’s more dainty than the one in the picture. i figured that the pearls are round and the bracelet is round.
would it be ok to wear this bracelet with pearls?
do you think all jewellery should be matchy matchy? or a tasteful mix?

anyone else mixing up their jewellery?

Definitely doesn’t all need to match!! As long as you aren’t completely mixing styles (like, a big vintage statement necklace with some dainty diamond earrings or something), I think you’re good to go. I’m going all over the place with my accessories (I’m a total over-accessorizer, I admit it). My dress has pearl accents, and my tiara is all rhinestones, so the rest of my accessories are any and all combination of those! Lace armwarmer-gloves to match the lace on the dress; mostly pearl flower necklace with some rhinestone accents; rhinestone bun cage in my hair; bun wrap that has pearls in it … but since everything is fairly classic and traditional, it works somehow. I think your pearl necklace with diamond bracelet fits the bill.
