@asagirl:  Choices are all over the map. He can wear exactly the same as the groomsmen, he can wear a completely different color, or he can choose more subtle differences like the tie or vest.

@asagirl:  Both are normal; he should do it the way he wants.

@asagirl:  That is perfectly fine.  Men do it both ways.

Mine is wearing the same as all his groomsmen. Only difference is he will have a pocket square.

@asagirl:  No problem.  However, we are making my Fi stand out in that all of the groomsmen are wearing white linen suits with white shirts while my Fi is wearing a lime green shirt under his white linen suit.

Either way is fine.  I think it matters most what he wants to look like and how much he wants to stand out.  As long as he is comfortable and happy it will look great.  I probably would have put them all in the same classic tuxedo look if it weren’t for the fact that I hate ivory shirts and my dress is ivory.  I put him in a white shirt with an ivory vest and tie to go with me.  He loves the fact that he stands out more, and that he will go together with me.  I think the bout is enough to distinguish him though and the pictures will look really sharp with all the guys dressed the same.
