Hello lovely brides~ I’m in a dilemma and hope someone could share some insights. My wedding dress will be a long sleeved, floor length, floral (with coral & soft blue flowers) cream colored dress. Haha…crazy description I know. My fiance bought the cloth during one of his work trip and I just thought of doing something special for him by turning that into my wedding dress. 🙂
Unfortunately…soon after word got out that i’m planning to wear a floral dress, I kind of got ‘attacked’ by comments from others that it’s not suitable for a reception hall, nobody wears floral/full patterned dresses as a wedding dress, people usual wear plain, one colored dress etc etc. I’m still not changing my mind so at the moment I’m trying to ‘dress up’ my dress and to avoid looking under-dressed. My tailor suggested two options; one is to attach a dramatic train, of tulle/chiffon material OR just leave as it is, a floor length dress, and just go for a nice cathedral veil.
Here are some photos that inspired me to go for floral wedding dress.. I’ll put up the photo of the cloth in a bit, ive misplaced my camera. 😛
Oh and if you’re wondering why I’m wearing a long sleeved dress, it’s because of conservative reasons. Thanks for reading~ 🙂
