I think once you add the centerpieces, it will brighten it up and it won’t look plain

If you really still wanted something, I would probably add the organza

I think a table scarf is a good way of anchoring the centerpieces onto the linens.

I’m torn between just plain or the organza.

Remember that right now just seeing the empty table it might look plain, but with all of the plates/napkins/glasses/etc.. and centerpeice decor it will not look so plain.

I just bought eggplant tablecloths for my wedding and I too was afraid of it looking to plain. so I went over to a rental place and they suggested adding a 20″x20″ colored napkin in the middle. It adds some color without being “too much”. They are also way cheaper than overlays. I am thinking of either doing a kiwi colored napkin or a silver.

Like everyone said, once you put everything together, it will not look plain.

You already have eggplant cloths, white chairs and brown sashes. If you bring in the color of your napkins, centerpieces etc I think it will be fine.
