Also depends on if your hair will be up or down… If you’re putting it up, I’d get the straps, if you’re wearing it down, I’d go strapless 🙂

I think you should have them removeable and wear the sleeves for the ceremony but go strapless for reception.

I would add the sleeves, but then I also prefer dresses with sleeves. I think it would play on my mind if my fiance had said that he didn’t like an aspect of my dress, and you don’t want to be thinking that on your wedding day! I think the dress looks lovely both ways but a little more sophisticated with sleeves, although the ones in the photo look like they are maybe a little loose on you. Another option you could maybe try is one of the illusion jacket things? eg something like this: https://www.justinalexander.com/en/justin-alexander/collection/wedding-accessories/A061/

I personally am not a fan of most strapless dresses (though I know Fiance is… too bad, my dress has 3/4 sleeves haha!)  I like this dress a lot better with the straps, I think especially since they’re made for this dress, it looks really good and not “forced” like some other add-on straps can sometimes look.  In the end, I am sure your Fiance couldn’t care less what your dress looked like.  He will love it because you’re in it and it’s your wedding dress!

I prefer cap sleeves with that dress. But at the same time I’m not a huge fan of strapless dresses either. I don’t necessarily think they actually make the boobs sit lower, but I do think strapless dresses can make it LOOK that way since there’s so much blank space above the chest. So either that’s what your FI’s seeing, or he’s just seen women in ill-fitting strapless dresses and thinks they all look like that. Either way I think he would be surprised at how much he loved your dress strapless! I really do think your dress looks beautiful without straps as well, even if I prefer the cap sleeves. So I don’t think you can go wrong here. If you’re unsure, I’d probably go with the detatchable cap sleeves.
