    I don’t like.the straps at all 😩

I actually like the 2nd picture you photoshopped with the altered neckline only! But the shading you did there looks like an illusion top- nude/skin color. Its so flattering without taking away from the dress. Could you have panel of nude/tan material out in to make it look like an illusion top? Can be short sleeve length or just to shoulders with either rounded or boat neck. Exactly like the shading you did in the 2nd pic. Will hold up your dress and look awesome.

If you’re worried about it falling down then put straps on. Peace of mind and comfort is very important. Having said that, if it’s falling down maybe it’s just too big?

I would either do no straps or the white straps, definitely not clear straps. Clear straps always looks bad imo because they’re not actually invisible. May as well embrace the straps if you have them! I really like the altered neckline with the straps too.

I prefer it as it is without the straps. Maybe get a dressmaker to make the dress tighter around the bust so it doesn’t fall down?

If it won’t stay up put straps on and be comfortable! And agree with previous comments – white straps would be much better than clear if you do go for straps. Lastly, I do prefer the altered neckline regardless of the straps. smile

How about other types of straps? Maybe using similar lace appliques or some kind of detachable sleeves? The sweetheart neckline is nicer…

Have you looked into adding boning into the side seams and tightening the bodice to fit you more closely?   Or maybe you could add some illusion net to cover from the bodice to the shoulders and neck in the front and from the neck and the shoulders in the back.  Or maybe you could have straps like the WTOO Penelope?
